About the art:
This painting was inspired first by a compositional idea, a pencil drawing of a field of flowers. As I worked on rendering my idea into reality, the center of the flowers naturally became the perfect home for some recognizable anatomy. By removing it visually from any associatiom with gender or bodies, this anatomy can finally be free to exist without the negative societal ideals projected into them.
